12th Annual 100-Mile Harvest Celebration Dinner, September 25th

The North Olympic Peninsula is one of only a few places in the U.S. that can actually offer a unique dining experience like the 12th Annual 100-Mile Harvest Celebration Dinner. Because of its wonderful prime soils, unique climate and creative and dedicated agricultural community, the area produces high-quality fruits and vegetables; beef, lamb, pork, poultry and seafood; grains; and dairy products. In the hands of talented local chefs, and under the auspices of chef Gabriel Schuenemann of the Alder Wood Bistro in Sequim, these fresh local ingredients, procured from within 100 miles of Sequim, will dazzle your palate in one of the most delicious and unusual dinners ever!

The dinner will also feature a fabulous and elegant dessert auction, live music, local beer and wine, and the warmth and camaraderie that have made the Sequim community famous.

Dinner is on Sunday, September 25 at the Sunland Country Club which is at 109 Hilltop Road., Sequim.  Social hour starts at 5:30pm and dinner is served at 6:30pm.

The North Olympic Land Trust and its farmland division, Friends of the Fields, are the sponsors of this event. During the past decade, they have protected over 200 acres for agriculture in perpetuity and the net proceeds from this dinner will go a long way to protecting more irreplaceable acreage. You can enjoy the bountiful harvest of our unique region while you help protect our farmland!

Tickets are $115 per person ($85 is tax deductible). Tickets are available online (see below) or by calling 360-681-8636. Seating is limited and no tickets will be sold at the door. All net proceeds go to protect farmland in Clallam County
.
